Title: The Loner
Greetings! Here is my next assignment. It is about a poem called "The Loner" . - What are your impressions of the boy and the children? I think that the boy is lonely and has the desire to be accepted. He stands against the wall every single day without anyone to talk to or play with. Though he is bored, he returns everyday just to watch the other children play. This is true from the quotes "Smacks his hands against the bricks and other boredom-beating tricks" and "Back against the wall he stays - and never plays" From the word never, it shows that he returns everyday. Even though he is lonely, he still returns. This proves that he has the deisre to be accepted into the crowd. However, he does not take the initiative to talk to the other children and stands against the wall watching them in silence. This might mean that he is shy and is scared to talk to the other children. In conclusion, I think that the boy is lonely. I think that the children are very mean and selfish. They refuse to talk to the boy and just stay within their own group. This is evident in the line "Each in our own familiar clique". This proves that the children are very selfish. They do not share their friends. Not even with someone who really needs a friend. I think that they are mean as they talked about the boy behind his back or even in front of him. They were probably saying mean things as they did not want the boy to hear their conversation. This is proven in the line "In slow huddled groups, low talking". Low talking shows that they were whispering. When they are huddled and whispering, that means that they did not want theier conversation to be heard. Therefore, I conclude that the children are very mean and selfish. ENDE :D it's literature... (10:53 PM)

Title: Jack and The Giant
Hello (:
Next assignement, Jack and The Giant. :D - Write a paragraph each for why both Jack and the Giant deserve our sympathy. I symapthise with Jack as he led a very poor life with a widowed mother and a cow, Milky-White whose milk is depended on for a living. Despite the tough life, Jack remains hardworking and determined to find ways to earn more money. This has given him a positive appearance in the story. However, Jack also has his greedy side. When a funny old man wanted to trade Milky-White with a number of strange-looking beans which was said to be magical, he immediately accepted the offer without thinking twice about it. That is one of the reasons which gave away his greediness. The other reason is when Jack managed to enter the Giant's house. He always took advantage of the Giant and stole the Giant's belonging one at a time. When Jack managed to get away with the bag of gold the first time, he was not satisfied with it. He went up to the Giant's house for the second and third time, each time stealing one of the Giant's valuables. Even though Jack resorted to stealing, I feel that he is stealing in order to support his mother and himself. This shows how determined he is to get money. This has caused me to sympathise him. I sympathise with the Giant as he was taken advantage of by Jack. Just because he wanted to retrive his stolen valuables, he fell to his death as Jack had chopped the beanstalk into half. I think that this is very unfair for the Giant as he did not do anything to hurt Jack or his mother. He only wanted his valuables back but instead, he died and left his wife, a widow. However, the passage states that the Giant likes to eat boys. I cannot blame the Giant for liking boys as meals as that might be his nature. In conclusion, I sympathise the Giant as he fell to his death when he tried to retrive his stolen valuables. THE END (: it's literature... (12:35 AM)

Title: The Dark Knight
Hello!
Here is the first assignment. It's all about Jokerrrr! Enjoyyy! :DDD - Do you sympathize with the Joker? I do not think that The Joker should be sympathized. He is very smart by nature but unfortuantely, he has misused his intelligence. Instead of using his intelligence to help people, he uses it to commit all the crimes he had done. He threatened the citizens of Gotham City and made the people live in his shadows. Also, The Joker is a very self-centered man. He hurts innocent people just to get what he wants. Like for exmaple, he wants to get rid of Batman. In order to get Batman's attention, he kills people and takes away innocent lives. He hurts people and does not think twice about it. Being greedy, he robs banks and kills his accomplices to have all the money to himself. That is another example to proof that the Joker is a very self-centered man. However, behind all that act, The Joker is actually a very lonely man. He had a very traumatised childhood. His scarred face was caused by his drunkard father. When his father was drunk, his father stuck a blade into the Joker's mouth reuslting in one of the scars. This must have hurt alot. The Joker was probably traumatised by this event and wanted others to feel the way he had felt. This might be one of the reasons why he is who he is now. Also, The Joker's wife who was a gambler, got herself into debts. Once, loansharks even carved her face with a knife. The Joker tried to prove to his wife that he does not mind the scars on her face. In order to prove that he meant it, he stuck a razor into his mouth. This caused another scar. Unfortunately, his wife did not stay long. She finally left him as she thought he was too ugly for her. This incident must have hit him below the belt. Not only has he destroyed his face, his wife had left him because she thought he was ugly. Even though The Joker has had a though childhood, I still do not think that he has the right to do whatever he wants. I think that it is very wrong of him to kill people to ease his pain and the grieve in his heart. Therefore, I conclude that The Joker is heartless. He does not show any mercy in killing people and he kills them in cold blood. He is also a very determined person. He would go to any lengths to make Batman someone who is hated by many. - What have you learnt from this lesson? From this lesson, I have learnt that impressions are formed by a person's speech or thoughts, their appearance, their relationships with others, and also their actions and background. I also learnt that I should not judge a book by its cover. Like they say, "there is more than meets the eye". Not only that, I have learnt that in everyone, there is always a hero and a villian. No one is perfect. So, we must always be aware of what we say to another person as what we say might hurt his or her feelings without us realising it. Be nice and be a hero because everyone is a "HERO" deep inside. THANK YOU <3 it's literature... (9:07 AM)
